These multi-function charge controllers can regulate not only PV charging but can function as a diversion controller for wind and hydroelectric generators. The C-35, C-40 & C-60 use silent solid state microprocessor control with filed adjustable set points. As a lolar charge controller, they employ Pulse Width Modulation charge control with 3-stages (bulk, absorption, and float) and have a manual or automatic Equalize mode. Used as a Diversion Controller they automatically divert excess power to a "dummy" load such as a water heating element or space heater to regulate hydro, wind or PV, or a combination thereof, while providing 3 stage control of the battery charging process. These controllers can also function as a load controller with a low voltage disconnect setting and a reconnect setting. They can only serve in one mode at a time --- you would need another unit to serve separately as a load controller. Both models are electronically protected for short-circuit, overload, over temperature and reverse polarity conditions. The C-40 and C-60 can be manually set to 12, 24, or 48 volt battery voltage.  The C-35 can be manually set for 12 or 24 vdc.

Optional LCD Digital Display --- The LCD display with backlighting continuously displays battery voltage, DC amperage, cumulative amp-hours and a separately resettable "trip" amphour measurement. It mounts on front or can be located remotely using phone-type cable.
