The following are sample systems listing all the core components required for a complete package. These systems don't include wire and small hardware that can be bought locally and are not a major expense. Prices are based on current catalog prices, though they may change without notice. Package systems over $1500. (catalog prices) will get an additional discount.

This is a system ideal for intermittent use as a vacation retreat or lake/ country cabin. It could serve as a full-tim residence for one or two people with minimal electrical needs. This system is capable of producing enougl energy for lighting, home entertainment (TV, VCR, stereo), DC fans and possibly some small tools. This type o] system allows for a lot of power to be used ffir a week-end with the rest of the week strictly for recharging.

This system is for full-time residents who need to perform normal day to day functions of the average household. There is enough electricity here to run all the normal appliances, with the exception of electric ranges, electric dryers, electric water heaters, conventional refrigerators ( a SunFrost could be used) and air conditioners. A gas generator would be an optional means of back-up power and battery charging.. A second inverter would provide 240 VAC for a possible deep well pump andlor large stationary power tools.

Though systems can be much larger, this system represents the low end of large. This system has over double the capacity as the above residential system and has 240 VAC and is capable of powering large deep well pumps. Though central air conditioning is out of the question, a small window AC could be used intermittanly. The inverters are grid-interactive and can sell power to the grid.
