Our Business and Home Residence Down in the Kings River water shed on Felkins creek in the Ozarks of South Madison county Arkansas resides Rocky Grove Sun Company. In the foreground is our shop and office.  The shop is also Energy Central--All of our solar and hydro energy is stored in our battery bank under the shop. We run AC and DC power to our home (in the background right). Our Shop is also a passive solar design. It also works as a greenhouse--we grow lettuce and spinach during the winter months. Lola the cat is a full time resident of the shop and keeps the building free of vermin.

Rocky Grove Sun Company is one of the first appropriate technology businesses in this region. We are a family owned and operated business serving folks in the Ozarks, Arkansas and the surrounding states since 1986. 

Our shop is pictured to the left. We fabricate some of our system components here and store our product inventory. Our home is the geodesic dome in the background of the picture.

We consult, design, install, sell mail order, give free advice, and have done well over three hundred installations over the years and have extensive hands-on experience with all of the renewable energy equipment and accessories we use and sell.  Flint Richter and myself, Jimis Damet are NABCEP certified and have over 35 years of combined experience in PV stand alone and grid-tied, wind and hydro systems.
